Sciences and positions in Ideal language

Hai! It’s been a while, but I’ve collected lots of materials and ideas for my Ideal language Ikari.

Back to the tomorrow

I’ll start off with some addition to previous post. The reason for that is that I’ve forgot to add words for week, month and year. So here there are:

Ikari English
viki a week
monti a month
jeri a year

And let’s add the word for nightneti.

Lexica botania

Main idea of this post is sciences, so we’ll start with language ones

Ikari English
ringistiki Linguistics
reksi Lexica
vokabi Vocubulary
grami Grammar
arfabeti Alphabet

*Position

The language haven’t got any prepositions yet so let’s add them!

Ikari English
en in
er on
ek to
eh from
on about

For example: Mur spikos on ro’veteri. (Eng. We’re talking about the weather.)

Main question in science

And now, on the fifth(!) talk about the language, I’ll introduce the QUESTION. It’s my personal favourite part about the language.

To make a question in Ikari you’ll have to add just ONE word to the beginning of the affirmative sentence, the word – roc.

So to ask somebody about who they are you’ll say:

Roc tu deros? (Eng. Who are you?)

Special question

To make special questions we’ll use the question pronouns from the pronouns table.

For example: Herou ro’veteri deros? (Eng. How the weather is?)

Naming things

Ikari English
namiki a name

New material:

  • viki – a week
  • monti – a month
  • jeri – a year
  • ringistiki – Linguistics
  • reksi – Lexica
  • vokabi – Vocubulary
  • grami – Grammar
  • arfabeti – Alphabet
  • en – in (prep.)
  • er – on (prep.)
  • ek – to (prep.)
  • eh – from (prep.)
  • on – about (prep.)
  • roc – general question special word
  • Making general questions
  • Making special questions
  • namiki – a name
